October Talent Spotlight- Kyle M

We are proud to announce our October 2017 Talent of the Month is Kyle M!

Acting, modeling, and a love for humor! We are excited to get in touch with Kyle about his goals, past accomplishments, and who has influenced him to break out of a career in Accounting to chase the exciting life of lights, camera, and ACTION!

Where are you from?
"I was born in Queens. I now split my time between Sayville and Philadelphia"

How did you get started in this field?
"When I was just out of high school, I took some classes at Weist Barron and HB studios in New York, but ended up in an accounting career. About two years ago, when I was asked by Ancestry.com to make a commercial... it was such a big hit I thought I'd like to do more! I started taking classes again and going on auditions. I have been working steadily ever since!"

Who are some of your favorite icons that have influenced you?
"I think Nathan Lane is someone to emulate. I remember he did a cold medicine commercial before his career took off. Comedy has always been appealing to me, so Ray Romano and Kevin James immediately come to mind when I think of those who have influenced me."

Career Highlights?
"Ancestry.com has been good to me, my commercial has run nationally over 17,000 times. Plus, they had me on all their marketing materials, website, splash pages, twitter campaigns, etc. I was even the face of the company internationally. That lead to spots for Optimum cable, Casper Mattresses, and Bosche and Lombe! I played John Ramsey in 'Jon Benet's Mother: Victim or Killer' on Lifetime, as well as numerous roles on Investigation Discovery, Travel Channel, History Channel and Animal Planet. I've also modeled for a men's clothing line called Peter Manning NYC."

What are your long term goals?
"I really enjoy commercial work, and would like to do more. I've been studying at Studio 4 in NYC, and the classes have really changed the game for me. I'm doing a feature next month in Washington DC, so I'd like to move into meatier roles in film and television."

The Spotlight looks good on you Kyle!
