Where are you from?
I am originally from Altoona, Pennsylvania and have been living in New York for the past 3 1/2 years
How did you get started in this field?
It all started with the theater bug back when I was in my first high school musical. I did many more shows growing up and knew this was what I loved and wanted to pursue.
After graduating from Penn State with a degree in Theatre I moved to New York. A friend of mind recommended I look into modeling and gave me a few agencies to contact. Pretty soon I was booking jobs and this became my full time gig!
Who are some of your favorite icons that have influenced you?
Ashley Graham, Tyra Banks (I obsessed over ANTM growing up), and Mary Tyler Moore. I've learned so much from these women. What they stand for has given me standards that I try to always hold myself to
Hobbies?
I really enjoy script writing and creating tv/film concepts. Comedic writing is my jam, and I'm currently working on my own web series.
I also have a puppy Max that I love going on adventures with. For exercise, you can catch me in a boxing class. Oh! And eating, duh! I love trying new restaurants and creating new recipes
Career Highlights?
So far being able to make modeling and acting full time is something I'm grateful for. It's such a slow and steady process of growing relationships and moving pieces of the puzzle around, but it's so worth it.
I've never been more happy and creatively free to work on my craft and can't wait to see where that extra focus takes me!
Long Term Goals?
My long term goal is to become a tv/film actress. Acting is the first love of my life and to have that be my day job would be indescribable.
I am also planning to get behind the camera more. I'm currently taking on the role of Director for my self-written comedic web series, "The Roommate." I'll also be acting in it, so this will be such an incredible learning experience. We're set to film in May of this year and I promise to share the end result with all of you!
